About Langtang Tamang Heritage Trail
Tamang Heritage Trail is an unspoiled Tibetan traditional village inside Langtang National Park. Very newly opened, Tamang Heritage Trekking reaches to near the Tibetan border. Picturesque Himalayas ’ scenery, Tibetan style of decorated local houses, untouched Tibetan culture, and warm service from locally build homestay are unforgettable memories of this trip.
9 Days of Langtang Tamang Heritage Trekking also includes visiting a UNESCO heritage site in Kathmandu valley. The next day we drive to Syaprubesi, which is 8 hours of scenic drive from Kathmandu. We pass Gatlang, Tatopani, Thuman, and Bridim which are sustained as traditional agricultural villages of Buddhist Tamang settlement. We can visit several Tamang Buddhist monasteries, Natural hot springs, and healing baths. We also can follow the route popular Langtang valley Trekking and Langtang Gosaikunda Trekking for another one week or more.
