Best time to visit Dakshinkali Temple

The best time to visit Dakshinkali temple is during the cooler months of October to March. During this period, the weather is generally pleasant, with clear skies and mild temperatures, which make it ideal for outdoor visits and enjoying the serene surroundings of the temple. If you are interested in the religious and cultural atmosphere, visiting during Dashain (September to October) or Tihar (October to November) can be particularly special. These festivals are marked by significant offerings and rituals at Dakshinkali, adding to the experience. However, be prepared for more crowds during these times.

While the summer months (April to June) can also be good for a visit, the monsoon season (June to September) should be avoided, as heavy rainfall can make travel difficulty and potentially dangerous, especially on the hilly roads leading to the temple.
