About Everest High Passes Trekking

Everest High Pass Trek is a perfect choice for all the adventure seekers as this trek brings us closer to the Everest Base Camp, Mt. Kalapatthar, Gokyo Lakes, and also the three high mountain passes viz. the Kongma La Pass, the Cho La Pass and the newly discovered Renjo La Pass. The team of the Ganga Jamuna Treks will take you to a thrilling journey on the trails of the Everest Region. This trek offers us beautiful landscape views of the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest, and also the world’s sixth highest mountain, Cho Oyu. Breathtaking views of various other peaks like Lhotse, Changtse, Nuptse, Amadablam, and Makalu of the Mahalangur mountain range will also be seen in the journey.

The trek starts alike any other trek of the Everest region, that is, with a flight to the Tenzin and Hilary Airport. From there, we start our trek to the village of Phakding and then towards the heart of the Sherpa village, Namche. In this trek, we will cross the three passes of the region to get to the beautiful villages of Chukhung, Dzongla, and Gokyo. The trek also makes it possible to view the Khumbu Glacier, the highest glacier of the world, and also the Gokyo village, the highest settlement of the world. If you want a longer trip than the Everest Base Camp Trek, then this trip is the one for you. Completion of this trek takes up to 18-24 days based on your schedule and requires a moderate level of fitness.

Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lake Trek can be an alternative trek of this trekking route for you which is less adventurous than the Everest High Passes Trek.
