About Everest Base Camp Trekking via Jiri

A longer and harder trek than the Everest Base Camp are the Everest Base Camp Trekking via Jiri. Those who do not wish to fly to one of the dangerous airports of the world can take this trek. The trek brings you closer to the mountains of the Mahalangur Mountain Range. You will be able to experience panoramic views of the 7000 meter high peaks such as Everest, Cho Oyu, and Lhotse. You will be delighted to meet with the Tibetan influenced Sherpa people and get to know them to close up along with the great hospitality of the Sherpa people.

This long and strenuous trek starts with a drive to the countryside of Jiri. From there, we will get to the villages of Bhandar and Sete. We will climb the Lamjura Pass to arrive at Junbesi. Then, we will get through the villages of Nunthala, Bupsa, and Surke to finally arrive at the original start point of the Everest Trekking, Lukla. Our trek begins with views of the scenic countryside and goes on to view the royal snow-sapped mountains. Completion of this trek takes 18-25 days based on your schedule and requires a strenuous level of fitness. 

Best Season for EBC Trekking from Jiri

Spring season (Month of March, April, and May) and autumn season (Sept, October, and November) is the Best season for trekking Everest Base Camp via Jiri. Weather in this season is sunny during days and less cold during nights. The trekking route is crowded in these seasons. During winter is also nice to trek EBC Trekking from Jiri. Local tea houses on the way trekking are open round the year. Fewer tourists in route and clear view of snowy Himalayan peaks make your trip the best and unforgettable
