Altitude: Altitude is major difficulty while climbing every peak of Nepal. Mera peak stands on the height of 6461m, and it is very common to suffer from altitude sickness. At the altitude of 2000m from sea level, usually trekkers suffer from altitude sickness and the starting point of this peak climbing is 2680m. So, there is a high chance of suffering from altitude sickness while embarking Mera Peak.

Weather and climate: The weather and climate are the basic difficulty factors while climbing a mera peak. In the high Himalayan land, the weather and climate are very changeable. The temperature is much colder than the low land because the peak is located at an altitude of 6461m.

Routes: This route follows through the Mera glacier where the route consists of snow and ice slopes where the temperature is 40 degrees. Best season to visit Mera Peak climbing.

It is very important to know about the perfect time to embark in the high Himalayan land. Mera peak is an altitude of 6461m, so it is better to choose the best time to visit Mera peak. Autumn and spring season are the best time to visit Mera peak.

Autumn season: It is a perfect time to ascend Mera peak where weather is clear and stable with cooling temperature. During this season, this season offers spectacular visibility, allowing climber to enjoy mesmerizing views of world’s tallest mountain “Mt Everest.”

Spring season: The weather is generally stable with moderate temperature and clearer skies during spring season. On this season, we will get a mesmerizing view of High Mountain with blooming rhododendron and alpine forest. While climbing in this season, there is a high chance of potential snowfall and occasional storms.

In winter, the weather is challenging yet rewarding opportunity, but it comes with significant difficulties. So, it is better not to climb Mera peak in winter season. Summer season is the least favorable time to climb Mera peak. During this season, the road is slippery and muddy due to rain. It is better to climb in spring and autumn season.
