Useful Information

Best time to visit Kathmandu Valley

The best time to visit Kathmandu Valley is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) season. During this season, the temperature and weather are pleasant with clear skies, moderate temperatures, and little to no rainfall, making it ideal for sightseeing. The spring brings blooming flowers and lush landscapes, and autumn provides crisp air and stunning mountain views. If you are planning to visit Kathmandu Valley during monsoon, then it is not a good idea because monsoon season (June to August) brings heavy rain and an outdoor activity is not possible. In winter (December to February), it may be too cold for outdoor activities, especially in the early morning and evenings, but hiking is perfect at this time.
