About Jomsom Muktinath Trek

Jomsom Muktinath Trek takes you to the holy land of Muktinath through the apple orchard of Marpha. A team of Ganga Jamuna Treks will set on a journey to take you to worship and hike to the sacred land of Muktinath.

Started with a sightseeing day in Kathmandu, Jomsom Muktinath Trek takes you through the scenic places of the country. On the first day, we will be exploring the world heritage sites of the Kathmandu Valley with an experienced guide. On the second day, we will drive to Pokhara and then trek to Tikedhunga. The real trek starts with the start of day third. We will trek through the villages of Ghorepani, Tatopani, Ghasa, Marpha, Jomsom, and Kagbeni to arrive at the holy land of Muktinath. Along the trek, we will be able to witness amazing panoramic views of the Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri massif. We will also be able to enjoy the local apple brandy of Marpha and the Tibetan influenced culture and tradition of Nepali people.

The Jomsom Muktinath Trek takes 13 days for completion based on our default itinerary. The trip can be tailored to you and your preference. The best time to visit the holy land of Muktinath is between September-December.
