The Annapurna Circuit Mountain Biking adventure begins with your arrival in Kathmandu, where you'll meet your guide and receive a thorough briefing about the trip, including safety protocols, the route, and necessary permits. You will also have a bike fitting session and get ready for the journey ahead. After the briefing, you'll have time to relax or explore Kathmandu’s vibrant streets and UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 2 Drive to Besisahar (6-7 hours)
On second day, you’ll embark on a scenic 6-7 hour drive to Besisahar, the starting point of the Annapurna Circuit. Along the way, you’ll pass through picturesque valleys, villages, and rivers, gradually entering the foothills of the Annapurnas. You’ll stay overnight in Besisahar.

Day 3 Besisahar to Bhulbhule (1-2 hours biking)
Start your biking journey from Besisahar, with a relatively easy day’s ride to Bhulbhule, a small village along the Marsyangdi River. The terrain is gentle with beautiful views of green fields and distant mountain peaks.

Day 4 Bhulbhule to Jagat (5-6 hours biking)
After a restful night in Bhulbhule, you will bike for about 5-6 hours on Day 4, heading towards Jagat. The ride takes you through terraced fields, dense forests, and over suspension bridges. You’ll be rewarded with stunning views of waterfalls, rivers, and the towering Himalayas. Jagat is a small village where you’ll stay overnight.

Day 5 Jagat to Tal (5-6 hours biking)
As you continue the journey, you’ll enter the Manang district the ride continues for 5-6 hours to Tal. The route passes through charming villages like Chamje, and then you reach Tal, a Tibetan-style village set beside a beautiful lake.

Day 6 Tal to Dharapani (5-6 hours biking)
The trail gets steeper and more challenging as you bike towards Dharapani, located at an altitude of 2,010m. You’ll pass through forests, ascending through forests and crossing suspension bridges for about 5-6 hours.

Day 7 Dharapani to Chame (5-6 hours biking)
After Breakfast, you’ll ride for another 5-6 hours to Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. The trail offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himal ranges as you ascend through alpine forests.

Day 8 Chame to Pisang (3-4 hours biking)
On this day, you’ll have a shorter ride to Pisang, a scenic village where you’ll rest for the day after biking for 3-4 hours through pine forests and past villages.

Day 9 Pisang to Manang (5-6 hours biking)
The journey continues with a 5-6 hour ride to Manang, one of the largest villages in the region. Manang is famous for its stunning views and Buddhist culture, and you’ll spend the night there in preparation for higher altitudes.

Day 10 Exploration In Manang
Rest and relaxation are important as you prepare for the higher-altitude biking challenge. We'll Spend a day in Manang to help your body acclimatize to the higher altitude. You can explore the village, visit the local monastery, or take short hikes around the area to further acclimatize. You can also enjoy a short bike ride around the village or nearby trails.

Day 11 Manang to Thorong Phedi (5-6 hours biking)
After Breakfast, you’ll bike for 5-6 hours towards Thorong Phedi, a more strenuous leg of the journey. The terrain is rugged, with alpine meadows, rocky paths, and glaciers as you approach the high-altitude base camp for Thorong La Pass. You’ll be riding in a remote environment, with views of the surrounding peaks becoming even more spectacular.

Day 12 Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (via Thorong La Pass)
On Day 12, you’ll rise early to tackle the climb to Thorong La Pass (5,416 meters), one of the highest biking passes in the world. The climb is challenging but offers incredible views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. From the pass, you’ll descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The ride down offers incredible views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Day 13 Muktinath to Jomsom (5-6 hours biking)
To reach Jomsom, it takes around 5-6 hours, descending into the dry, desert-like terrain of the Mustang region. The Kali Gandaki Valley and Dhaulagiri Range provide stunning backdrops as you make your way to Jomsom, a small town where you’ll rest for the night.

Day 14 Fly to Pokhara
After roaming the town and having lunch, you’ll take a scenic 25-30 minute flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful lakeside town, known for its stunning mountain views and tranquil atmosphere.

Day 15 Return to Kathmandu
This day concludes your long trip. You’ll fly back to Kathmandu, where you’ll have a free evening to explore the capital or relax after your incredible biking adventure.
