• Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel (1345 m). Overnight at Hotel

    One of our representatives will pick you up at the airport and guide you to your hotel room. After you freshen up, you can start preparing for your trekking equipment. In the evening, you will be welcomed by the team of the Gangajamuna Treks at a dinner party. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu and trip preparation. Overnight at Hotel

    A visit to some of the world heritage sites of the Kathmandu Valley like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath and the Kathmandu Durbar Square with an experienced guide before a short brief about the trip will end the day for us. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule (840m, 7 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We will get on a private vehicle and travel in a bumpy and windy road with great mountain views to arrive at the lake city of Pokhara and then enter Dumre to arrive at the village of Besi Sahar. After a quick lunch break, we will drive to our destination for the day. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 4 Bhulbhule to Bahundanda (1310 m, 4/5 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We wake up to the sunlight to have our breakfast and start our trek to reach the village of Bahundanda. We start off in a green lush trail with views of the snowy mountains above us and rushing river below us. The walk is mostly flat until a short and steep climb will take us to the village of Bahundanda. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 5 Bahundanda to Chamje (1430m, 6/7 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We start off early to descend to the village of Ghermu. A fifteen minute walk downhill will take us to a very attractive village of Syange, which has beautiful views of a high and narrow waterfall. From there, a short and easy walk of about one and a half hours will take us to the village of Jagat and past that village comes our destination for the day, the village of Chamje. Overnight in Chamje.

  • Day 6 Chamje to Dharapani (1,890m, 6/7 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    First, we walk up to the village of Tal that takes us about 5 hours for us to reach. The trail is a bumpy up and down steep trail that grasped the river. After Tal, we will hike for about 2 hours to reach Kharte before arriving at the village of Dharapani. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 7 Dharapani to Chame (2670m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We start off early by walking about two hours from Kharte to Danaque. From there, we climb up on a very difficult and steep trail to Timang where we will stop for a tea break and soak ourselves in the mountains lying at the background. We walk up and down the rugged path for 2 hours to arrive at the village of Koto from where; Chame is just a 30 minute walk. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 8 Chame to Pisang (3200m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    An early start off to the village of Chame for the clearest views of the sun and mountains. First we will reach a small settlement of Bhratang then we move up a massive glacier-like rock face. Crossing the rock face, we will get to the entry of the Pisang village. We can either stay at the Lower Pisang or can stay at the Upper Pisang. To preserve our energy, we will stay at the Lower region overnight.

  • Day 9 Pisang to Manang (3540m, 6/7 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We start our trek early in the morning by taking the upper route which will be twice as long and beautiful than the lower route to Manang. We will start our trek through a flat trail and then slowly move uphill in a steep mountainside. A relentless climb up a steep path will take us to the village of Ghyaru. From Ghyaru, the walk is mostly flat and windy. We will stop at the village of Ngawal for a lunch break and then descend through a desert-like landscape to arrive at the village of Bragha. From there, the walk is just half an hour away. Overnight at Manang.

  • Day 10 Acclimatization day. Overnight at Tea House

    A day to cope with the changing climate and altitude. We will visit a nearby looking point up the mountainside for the views of the majestic surrounding mountains. We could also visit the Milarepa’s cave and also to the Kecho Lake depending on our effort and schedule. There are also several café for us to enjoy our time. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 11 Manang to Yak Kharka (4018m, 4/5 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Fairly comfortable walk to the village of Gunsang with magnificent views of the Annapurna massif. From there, we will walk along the Marshyangdi River and Jharsang Khola to arrive at the village of Yak Kharka. Throughout the day, we will have magnificent views of the Annapurna II, III and IV and Gangapurna. We will also enjoy the views of the Gangapurna Lake. Yak Kharka is basically a dey and dusty settlement with few lodges. We will hike up the hillside for acclimatization. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 12 Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi (4450m, 4/5 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    After breakfast, we will leave Yak Kharka along the Kone Khola Valley. We will cross a long and high suspension bridge before arriving at the village of Letdar. A steep climb will take us out of Letdar with great views of Annapurna and Gangapurna. We will hike downhill in a steep path to a river and cross a wooden bridge to zig-zag our way up to the other bank and cross a dangerous steep slope before arriving at the village of Thorung Phedi. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 13 Thorung Phedi to Muktinath (3760m, 8/9 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We start off early in a steep climb out of the settlement of Thorung Phedi. We will first arrive at a settlement of High Camp and in about two hours, we will arrive at a tea house, where we will stop for breakfast. We will climb up and up for 2 or 3 hours to arrive at the Thorung La Pass. In the pass, we will see a pile of prayer flags, memorials and a small tea house. Enjoying the panoramic views on the top of the pass, we will drop down a very long steep downhill trail to arrive at the holy place of Muktinath. After an hour drop, we will be walking on a dry and dusty trail rather than the snow. For lunch, we will stop at a tea house at a small settlement of Chabarbu. Then, after sometime, we will arrive at Muktinath. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 14 Muktinath to Marpha Village (2670m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We will walk across the hills of the Upper Mustang to pass the villages of Ranipauwa and Jharkot. The views from the villages are just mesmerizing. We will be able to view the Dhaulagiri mountain range and the Kali Gandaki River Valley. Descent through green lush forest will take us to the apple growing village of Marpha. Marpha is a village famous for its small and tasty apples. While we are here, we will try different varieties made from apples such as the apple wine and apple pies. Overnight at tea house. 

  • Day 15 Marpha Village to Ghasa (2010m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We take the road along the Kali Gandaki Valley to arrive at the village of Ghasa. The scenery of the rivers and mountains will amaze us in every possible ways. The road to Ghasa is extremely dangerous and it lies in a very steep cliff. Overnight at Ghasa. 

  • Day 16 Ghasa to Tatopani (1190m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea Hou

    Along the banks of the Gandaki River on a gravelly road, we descend down almost 1000 meters to arrive at the hot springs of Tatopani. We rest in a hot spring for relaxation. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 17 Tatopani to Ghorepani (2840m, 6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    A serious climb through a high steep hill will take us to the village of Ghorepani. The roads are pretty much uphill. We will leave the Gandaki River behind and open up the view of the mountains and villages in front us. We will climb the stone stairs that have been placed on the ground and enjoy the natural scenery around us. High up on the ridge is the village of Ghorepani. Ghorepani has a few small shops with various items for sale. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 18 Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tikhedhunga (1480m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Early in the morning, we will trek up to the Poon Hill for sunrise views. We will walk up 300 meters to reach the summit of Poon Hill to have amazing views of the Annapurna massif. Back to the village of Ghorepani for breakfast. From there, we will get down to the village of Tikhedhunga. We will descend through the villages of Ulleri and Birenthanti before getting to the village of Tikhedhunga. The village can be recognized from a distance as all the houses are painted bule in color. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 19 Tikhedhunga to Nayapul (1070m) and drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel

    10 kilometers walk will take us to the village of Nayapul, the start of the Annapurna Trek. From Nayapul, we get on a cheery and bumpy drive up to the lake city of Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 20 Sightseeing in Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel

    Today, we will explore the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. We will visit the Phewa Lake, International Mountain Museum, Mahendra Cave, David Falls and other religious and entertaining places. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 21 Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel

    After breakfast, we will make our way back to the city of temples in a bumpy hillside road with beautiful views of the mountains in the background. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 22 Final Departure

    Our representative will take you to the Tribhuvan International Airport and bid you farewell.
