• Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu
    After landed in Tribhuvan international airport of Nepal, you will meet the representative of Kai expedition wait outside for you. From airport, you will directly to the hotel where you are going to spend two nights before starting Chitlang village homestay tour.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu
    Before embarking the Chitlang village homestay tour, we will stay another day at Kathmandu valley. On this day, we will visit the UNESCO world heritage sites around Kathmandu. We will visit Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath, Kathmandu durbar square, and other UNESCO sites. After the city tour, we will be back to the hotel and take rest.

  • Day 3 Dive to Chitlang
    Chitlang is 27 kilometers far from Kathmandu which takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. After reach in Chitlang, you will check in the homestay. After check in the homestay, we will explore villages and the local farm and market and a local traditional way of making goat cheese.

  • Day 4 Explore to Chitlang and hike to Markhu

    Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

    On 4th day of Chitlang village homestay tour, we will go for hiking to Pharping after having breakfast. We will follow the main trail and visit Dakshin kali temple. From Chitlang, Markhu is about 2 hours of hiking where you will get close to nature. With the remarkable view of the village and clear blue skies around the Indrasarowar Lake at Markhu makes hiking more interesting. After lunch at Markhu, we will take some rest and slowly back to Chitlang and spend overnight here.

  • Day 5 Drive back to Kathmandu
    Today, after having breakfast at Chitlang, we will drive back to Kathmandu valley. We will take same route to drive back to Kathmandu valley. After reach at Kathmandu, we will take whole day rest in the hotel. If you want then you can explore around Thamel.

  • Day 6 Departure day
