Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu
On your arrival time, the representative of the Kai expeditions will be at Tribhuvan international airport waiting for you. After meeting the representative, you will take to the hotel and clear all the check-in formalities and leave you to take a rest. In the evening, you can roam around the city and spend overnight. -
Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing
We will start the day by visiting Pashupatinath. In the early morning, we will go to the Pashupatinath for morning Aarati. After morning Aarati, we will have breakfast and then start the sightseeing. First, we will visit Bouddhanath (one of the largest stupas), and afterward, we will drive towards Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple). From the top of Swayambhunath, you will have an opportunity to see mesmerizing views of the whole Kathmandu Valley. Once we have visited Swayambhunath, we will have our lunch break. After Lunch, we will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square where we can explore Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Bhawani Templ, and also visit the home of living goddess “Kumari Ghar”. Once we have visited the Valley, we will return to the hotel and spend overnight. -
Day 3 Dakshinkali temple darshan and drive back to Kathmandu
In the early morning, we will drive at least 20 kilometers to the south of the Kathmandu Valley, which takes almost 1.5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. The temple is dedicated to Goddesses Kali, the goddess of fierce and powerful deity associated with destruction and transformation. Once you reach the temple, you will learn and enjoy culture, ritual, and their religion while connecting beautiful nature as well. After visiting the temple, we will visit the Taudaha Lake. And after some time at Taudaha Lake, we will return to Kathmandu Valley. Along the way back to Kathmandu Valley, we will also head to Chobar gorge, where it is believed that Manjushree cut the Chobar Gorge to drain out the lake and turn into the Kathmandu Valley later. -
Day 4 Departure day
You will drop to the Tribhuvan International airport according to your flight schedule and hope to see you again in Nepal.
