• Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

    Our representative will pick you up at the airport and drop you at your hotel room. There, you can start packing your stuff for the upcoming trek. In the evening, a dinner party with a short brief about the trek. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu and trip preparation. Overnight at Hotel

    Today, we will visit some of the world heritage sites of the Kathmandu Valley. We will visit Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Our guide will portray historical and interesting information about the sites. Back to the hotel for final preparation and overnight stay.

  • Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Jiri (218km, 1905m, 7/8 hrs.). Overnight at Hotel

    After breakfast, we will drive to the village of Jiri. The winding road to Jiri is narrow and bumpy but the view of the lush green countryside makes the bumpy roads more interesting. It takes us 6 to 7 hours to arrive at Jiri depending on the traffic jams. Today, we will have our first view of the mountains as we will be able to enjoy splendid views of the Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and the Dorje Lakpa. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 4 Jiri to Bhandar (2190m, 6/7 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We make our way to the village of Bhandar today. First, we will get above the village of Jiri. Then, we follow the road upwards and then descend to arrive at Mali. From there, we will get down in a curvy and steep path to cross a couple of suspension bridges and arrive at the village of Shivalaya. After having lunch there, we will climb out of Shivalaya and get up a ridge to reach Deurali. Descend through steep lush forest to arrive at Bhandar. Bhandar is a Sherpa settlement with nice-looking stupas and lodges. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 5 Bhandar to Sete (2600m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We start our trek with a descent until we reach a wooden bridge. We will cross the bridge and descent through a steep path to get to flat land. 2 hours from there is the village of Kenja. Sete, our destination for the day, is just above the ridge in front of the village of Kenja. The climb to Sete is strenuous and goes up in a narrow and steep path. Throughout the trek, we will be able to see farmlands and mountain views. We will also be able to experience the rich culture of the Sherpa People. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 6 Sete to Lamjura pass (3530m) and Junbesi (2680m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We ascent along the side of the ridge to arrive at the village of Dagchu. From there, we will ascend through a lush rhododendron forest to reach Goyem. Goyem has a lot of simple lodges in which everything’s done in a single room. Our path continues ascending on a steep path until the land flattens. We will get to the Lamjura Pass after a fairly easy walk. From there, the path descends steeply through pine forest until the land flattens and we are back at the farmlands. We walk past several houses and a small settlement on our descent before we arrive at the village of Junbesi. Overnight at Junbesi.

  • Day 7 Junbesi to Nunthala (2330m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We start our journey by crossing over a bridge and then take the route uphill through a pine forest. First, we will reach a small settlement called Phurtyang, from where we will be able to view the Mt. Everest closely. Then, we descend through the village of Sallung and again ascend up after crossing a suspension bridge to reach Ringmo. After having lunch at Ringmo, we will again start climbing upwards on the ridge of the Trakshindo La until we reach the top. A steep descent from there will take us to the village of Nunthala. Overnight at a tea house. 

  • Day 8 Nunthala to Bupsa (2300m, 5/6hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We leave the village and descend until we reach the bottom of the valley. From there, we will cross a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River to drop down to the village of Jubing. A steep climb to the top of a ridge before a descent will take us to Khairikhola. We will cross a suspension bridge after a short descent and make our way to the village of Bupsa. Throughout the trek, we will experience the alpine farmlands and some Mahalngur Mountains. Overnight in Bupsa.

  • Day 9 Bupsa to Surkhe (2290m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Today, we ascend through a thick forest to arrive at the village of Paiya. Our trail continues in a wet and slippery forest. The path through the forest is difficult and deadly so, we move through the path slowly and steadily. We will cross several suspension bridges above the Dudh Koshi River to end up in fairly flat land. We head to the end of the ridge and descend through a forest until we arrive at the small village of Surke. We will have a really good view of the Khumbu region and the Lukla village today. We will be amazed to see the planes land on the Lukla airstrip. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 10 Surkhe to Phakding (2610m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea house

    After Surkhe, we will cross the village of Lukla and continue onwards to the village of Cheplung. The climb to Lukla is a really hard one as it goes up a steep path. We will walk through the runway before arriving at the main streets of Lukla. A fairly easy and flat walk will take us to the village of Phakding. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 11 Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440m, 6/7 hrs.) Overnight at Tea House

    Up and down through the forest and over the Dudh Koshi river will take us to the village of Monjo, the entry of the Sagarmatha National Park. We will cross a couple of suspension bridges and ascend through the pine forest to arrive at Namche. Namche is the heart of the Sherpa village with lots of shops and high-quality lodges. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 12 Acclimatization day. Overnight at Tea House

    We will take the day off as we have to prevent the Acute Mountain Sickness. We will visit monasteries and shops today. There are also several bakeries and internet cafes to check out your emails. We will take our time to acclimatize and enjoy the traditional Sherpa museum just above the valley. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 13 Namche to Tengboche (3867m, 6/7 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Today, we will climb above the valley and make our way up to a large rock that sits in the middle of the path. We will take the path towards the right. We walk up and down to pass several stupas and arrive at Kyanjuma. As we move upwards, big snow-covered mountains come into view. We will get to Phortse Tenga and make our way to Sanasa. From there, we will descend until we reach the bottom and again ascend along a long steep path through a forest to arrive at Tengboche. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 14 Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m, 6/7 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We cross a suspension bridge to ascend upwards to the village of Pangboche. From there, we will gradually ascend to cross a bridge before arriving at Dingboche. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 15 Acclimatization day. Overnight at Tea House

    We take the day off for acclimatization. Today we will stroll around Dingboche and walk up to the Chukhung valley. We will experience the scarce flora and fauna of the Everest Region along with snow and ice formations all over the valley. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 16 Dingboche to Lobuche (4940m, 4/5 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Small inclines will take us to the village of Dughla. We will be able to see clear flowing streams and mighty peaks around the valley. The people of Lobuche are always busy in welcoming the guests. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 17 Lobuche to Gorakhshep (5140m, 7/8 hrs.) and Everest Base Camp (5364m). Overnight in Gorakshep

    We will start our ascent in a narrow path and then move towards wide valleys. Flora and fauna decrease as we go up towards the village. We will walk past the village of Gorakshep to arrive at the base camp. The base camp is filled with prayer flags and a lot of dust. We stay there for about an hour and then make our way back to the village of Gorakshep. We will be able to see large pools of ice and water in the base camp. Overnight in Gorakshep. 

  • Day 18 Gorakhshep to Kalapathar (5545m) and Pheriche (4240m – 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We climb Kalapathar early in the morning. The sunrise view over the Mt. Everest will be just breathtaking. Kalapathar is famous for its incredible panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Great views of Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Amadablam can be seen from the top. Back to Gorakshep for breakfast. Easy trek downhill to arrive at Periche. We will come across a memorial for people who lost their lives trying to climb the royal Everest. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 19 Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3440m, 7/8 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We follow the same path that we used to get here. We descend a long way crossing several crossing bridges to arrive at the Sherpa village. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 20 Namche Bazaar to Lukla(2840m, 6/7 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We will walk past the villages of Cheplung, Ghat, and Phakding to arrive at the village of Lukla. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 21 Lukla to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel

    After breakfast, we will fly to the international airport at Kathmandu and take the rest of the day off. You can contact us if you need any kind of extra activities. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 22 Final Departure

    We will guide you to the sole international airport of Nepal and bid you adieu.
