• Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu TIA. Overnight at Hotel

    We will pick you up and guide you to your hotel. After you freshen up, you can start preparing your trekking equipment. In the evening, you will get a glimpse of typical Nepali food at a welcome dinner party hosted by the company. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu and trip preparation. Overnight at Hotel

    Today, we visit some of the world heritage sites of the Kathmandu Valley like the Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath and also the Kathmandu Durbar Square. One of our guides will brief you about the heritage sites and also about the trip details. Back to the hotel for final preparation of the trip.

  • Day 3 Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2610m, 4/5 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    After breakfast, an early morning flight to Tenzin and Hilary Airport. The flying of about 30 minutes will take us to Lukla village. From there, we start off with an easy trek to the village of Phakding. To get to Phakding, we will cross two villages, Cheplung and then Ghat. This trip gives us our first view of the Himalayas. Breathtaking views of the mountains and streams amaze us all day. We will also come across various suspension bridges and also the prayer stones along the way. Overnight at a tea house.

  • Day 4 Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440m, 6/7 hrs.)

    We will start our trek to the heart of the Sherpa village once we have our breakfast. The path to the Bazaar is quite steep and predictably inclines uphill with very high suspension bridges. The trails pass through magnificent views and sights of the Himalayas and the green valleys. We also come across various prayer wheels and signs throughout the trek. Namche is a big town with a large number of local stores with items ranging from souvenirs to regular day items. Overnight at the tea house.

  • Day 5 Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar

    A day off to adapt to the changing climate as a precaution for the Acute Mountain Sickness is a must to continue our journey. We will wake up to a spectacular morning as the sun rises above the mountains. Today we visit the Sherpa Museum and explore the valley. The museum offers great views of the Himalayas and the Namche Bazaar below us with detailed information of the flora and fauna of the region. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 6 Namche to Thame (3800m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Today, we dwell through pine forests and walk around flat land most of the time to get to the less-known valley of Thame. Throughout the hike, we will be rewarded with really nice views of the frozen river and the Himalayas. We pass through several quiet villages to arrive at the village of Thame, where the first Sherpa to climb the Mt. Everest, Tenzin Norgay Sherpa, was born. We will visit a 300 years old monastery in Thame which is surrounded by rocky cliffs and icy peaks if the time persists. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 7 Thame to Lungdhen (4380m, 7/8 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Trekking from Thame to Gokyo takes a lot of time which is why we stay at Lungdhen for the day. We will gain only about 500 meters in an easy trek to Lungdhen. We pass Marlung on the way to the village of Lungdhen, a resting place for the hikers before attempting a climb to the recently discovered Renjo La Pass. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 8 Lungdhen to Renjo La Pass (5446m) and Gokyo (4790m, 7/8 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    A day with up and down trails through the Renjo La Pass will take us to the highest settlement of the world, the Gokyo Valley. We start with an easy ascent early in the morning. The ascent becomes steeper as we reach the Renjo Lake and as we gain height, the trail becomes more steeper and harder. From the Renjo La Pass, we will be able to view the dominating Mt. Everest up close and the Gokyo village and the frozen lakes will stand below us. We will also be able to view the longest glacier of Nepal, the Ngozumpa glacier and several other peaks like Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Makalu to name a few. After a period of amusement, we will descent down to the village of Gokyo. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 9 Rest day in Gokyo. Overnight at Tea House

    We take a day off to dive into the beauty of the Gokyo village located on the shores of the Dudh Pokhari. Today we will visit the six Gokyo Lakes, the most important being the third one and the fifth one. East of the fifth lake is a place called the Scoundrel’s Viewpoint. It is a high-altitude desert-like place where the three glaciers join to form the mighty Ngozumpa Glacier. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 10 Gokyo to Dragnak (4800m, 2/3 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Today, we make our way to the village of Dragnak, which is across the moraine of the Ngozumpa Glacier. The entire walk is above the glacier’s surface, but you won’t find it icy because of the dust and rubble of rocks scraped from the movement of the glacier. Dragnak a.k.a Thangnak is not actually a village but a group of several lodges to support trekkers before or after the climb through the Cho La Pass. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 11 Dragnak to Cho La Pass (5420m) and Dzongla (4830m, 8 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    From Dragnak, we will have to gain about 600 meters to reach Cho La and lose the same to arrive at Dzongla. We need to start early as the weather fluctuates in the afternoon. The entire walk upto the pass is uphill so we ascent until we reach Cho La Pass, a place with huge moraine blocks and loose rocks. The tracks are quite slippery at the top so we need to be careful as we descend downwards to the village of Dzongla. Dzongla is a small village with just two lodges so we need to hurry up to get our room. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 12 Dzongla to Gorakhshep (5140m, 6/7 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    A flat and pleasant walk with breathtaking views will take us to our destination for the day. We will be able to see Cholatse, Taboche and Amadablam peaks throughout the trek. Lobuche has only lodges as the village is the entry to the Everest Base Camp so, the people are always busy in welcoming the guests. We will stop at Lobuche for a short lunch break then we will resume our trek to the village of Gorakshep. The path to Gorakshep is quite easier with only a couple of steeper sections. Gorakshep is the highest settlement before the Everest Base Camp. The village is filled with lodges, yaks and trekkers from all over the world. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 13 Climb Kalapathar (5545m) and Everest Base Camp (5364m) Overnight at Gorakhshep

    Early morning, we climb up to Kalapathar which is basically a pile of rocks. From the top, the best view of the Everest is guaranteed as the sky is cloud-less in the morning. We head back to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue our journey to the Everest Base Camp. We reach the base camp when we come across prayer flags that mark the area of the base camp. Base camp is just a big glacier with lots of rocks and dust. We stay at the base camp for some time and then make our way back to Gorakshep for an overnight stay.

  • Day 14 Gorakhshep to Lobuche (4940m, 2 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We follow our trails the same way all the way to Lobuche. The walk is easy and takes just 2 hours to complete. We stay at Lobuche for the day and prepare ourselves for the Kongma La pass.

  • Day 15 Lobuche to Kongma La Pass (5535m) and Chukhung (4750m, 8/9hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Crystal clear lakes and Mt. Amadablam follow us all the way to our third pass of the Everest Region. The hike upto the Pass is quite easy and straightforward. The route to the pass is usually silent as the route is not used by most of the trekkers. From there, we descend downwards to the village of Chukhung for an overnight stay.

  • Day 16 Chukhung to Tengboche (3867m, 5/6 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Trek to Tengboche offers us splendid views of the Island Peak, Mehra Peak and the Chukhung RI. Up and down the pine forest will take us to the village of Dingboche from where we will cross a couple of suspension bridges to arrive at Tengboche. We will visit Tengboche Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries of the Everest Region once we reach the village. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 17 Tengboche to Namche (3440m, 4 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    We descend downwards to cross a suspension bridge and then ascend up to the valley ridgeline to hike forward in a flat and warm land. After walking for some hours, we will reach the center of the Sherpa Village. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 18 Namche to Lukla (2840m, 6/7 hrs.). Overnight at Tea House

    Today, we will follow the same path all the way to Lukla. First, we will reach Phakding and then we continue on our journey to Cheplung, Ghat and at last to Lukla. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 19 Lukla to Kathmandu

    Early morning flight to Kathmandu and the rest of the day off. We will rest after the tiring trek at the highest passes along the highest peak in the globe. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. 

  • Day 20 Rest Day in Kathmandu.

    After the adventurous trek in the mountains, we take the day off. If you need any other activities for the day, you can contact us. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 21 Departure

    We will drive you to the international airport and bid you adieu.
