• Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

    Arrival in Kathmandu Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet your guide and get a briefing on the trip. You'll have a bike fitting and an introduction to the route, safety measures, and the cultural aspects of the Langtang region. The rest of the day is free to explore Kathmandu or rest.

  • Day 2 Drive to Syabrubesi (7-8 hours)

    You’ll begin the journey with a scenic 7-8 hour drive to Syabrubesi. The drive takes you through small villages, terraced fields, and lush valleys, with the mountains gradually coming into view. Upon arrival in Syabrubesi, you’ll rest and prepare for the next day’s biking adventure.

  • Day 3 Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (4-5 hours biking)

     Start the biking journey with a steady ascent to Lama Hotel. The trail takes you through forests of oak and rhododendron, crossing suspension bridges and passing small settlements. You'll be treated to views of waterfalls and mountain peaks as you ride uphill, gradually gaining altitude and reaching Lama Hotel for the night.

  • Day 4 Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (4-5 hours biking)

     Continue biking through dense forests, passing Tibetan-style villages and yak pastures. As you ascend, the views of Langtang Lirung and the surrounding peaks grow more prominent. The route becomes steeper as you approach Langtang Village, where you’ll spend the night in this scenic and culturally rich settlement.

  • Day 5 Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3-4 hours biking)

    The biking journey continues towards Kyanjin Gompa, a Tibetan monastery located at the base of several towering peaks. The terrain becomes more rugged and alpine as you approach the monastery, offering panoramic views of Langtang Lirung and other majestic peaks. Explore the monastery and enjoy the stunning surroundings upon arrival.

  • Day 6 Exploration Day in Kyanjin Gompa

    Take a rest day to acclimatize to the higher altitude. You can explore the area, visit the Kyanjin Ri summit for spectacular views, or enjoy a short ride around the region. This day is essential for adjusting to the altitude before the return journey.

  • Day 7 Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel

    Begin the descent back down towards Lama Hotel. The ride is mostly downhill but still challenging due to the rocky and uneven terrain. Enjoy the incredible views on the way back as you retrace your path, passing through forests and crossing bridges.

  • Day 8 Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (4-5 hours biking)

     Ride back to Syabrubesi, completing the loop. The trail offers beautiful downhill sections, with the backdrop of cascading waterfalls and forested landscapes. Once back in Syabrubesi, you’ll have time to relax after the bike ride.

  • Day 9 Drive back to Kathmandu

    After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. The journey takes about 7-8 hours, allowing you to reflect on the amazing biking experience. In the evening, you’ll have free time to explore Kathmandu or relax before departure.
