• Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (TIA) 1350m. Overnight at hotel

    Your first day in Nepal, the country of Mt. Everest. Our representative will pick you up at the airport and guide you to your hotel room. In the evening, we will gather up in a typical Nepali restaurant and discuss the upcoming trek. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing and Manaslu Circuit Trek preparation day

    Today, we will stroll around the city of temples, the Kathmandu valley. We will visit the UNESCO-listed world heritage sites like Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square with an experienced guide who will provide you the details of the places we visit. The guide will also brief you about the upcoming trek. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola [710m, 8 - 9 hours]

    We will have our breakfast and start off with a long drive to the village of Arughat. We will drive through windy and bumpy roads to pass through the Dhading district and get to the village of Arughat once we cross a wooden bridge over the Budhi Gandaki River. We will stop for a short lunch break and continue on our way up to the village of Sotikhola. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 4 Soti Khola to Maccha Khola [900m, 6 - 7 hours]

    A descent through rough track will take us to the village of Lapurbesi. We will be able to view mules carrying major supplies for local communities as there is no road access in the Manaslu region. We will stop at Lapurbesi for a lunch break. We will walk along the bank of the Budhi Gandaki River with some or minimal communal activities. There are a few diminished buildings and cultivated land all along the way. Machha Khola is a little developed compared to other villages due to the tourism industry. Overnight in tented accommodation.

  • Day 5 Maccha Khola to Jagat [1410m, 6 - 7 hours]

    We start off early along the banks of the Buddhi Gandaki River. We will ascend as the time passes by. The path to the next village of Tatopani is steeply uphill in a very difficult terrain. We can stop here for a hot shower and lunch. We will continue uphill and arrive at the village of Dhobhan before reaching our destination for the day, the village of Jagat. Overnight in tented accommodation.

  • Day 6 Jagat to Deng [1,804m, 6 - 7 hours]

    We move into a more remote Tibetan Buddhist Region and climb higher and higher into the Manaslu Region. Today, we will cross several suspension bridges and climb a few wooden ladders. We will cross long and high suspension bridges to arrive at the village of Philim. We will climb higher to cross the village of Ekle Bhatti and arrive at the small settlement of Deng. Overnight in tented accommodation.

  • Day 7 Deng to Namrung [2630m, 6 - 7 hours]

    We will cross several suspension bridges and climb up scaly rocky paths to arrive at the village of Ghap. We will continue on our way up to see a change in vegetation and arrive at the village of Namrung. Overnight at tented accommodation

  • Day 8 Namrung to Samagaon [3530m, 6-7 hours]

    Same as other days, we walk along the river through pine forest to arrive at the small village of Sho. We continue on our way up to find surrounding peaks destroyed by constant landslides and avalanches. We will see the Ribung Gompa along the way with Mt. Manaslu in the background. We will also come across various mani walls with finely carved Buddhist teachings. We will arrive at the village of Shyala as we move upwards. There, we will take a quick lunch break and continue on our journey to the village of Samagaon. We will cross snow covered wooden bridge and move up and down the path to reach the entry of the Samagaon where we will see huge mani walls inscribed on the walls. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 9 Visit Pungyen Gompa [6 - 7 hours] return to Samagaon

    A full day trip to arrive at the popular monastery of Pungyen Gompa in the Samagaon village. Pungyen Gompa lies at the end of a vast grassy plateau with panoramic scenery of gigantic mountains. The gompa has small prayer halls and dormitories built on a mountain. Return to Samagaon for an overnight stay.

  • Day 10 Samagaon to Samdo [3860m, 4 - 5 hours]

    Through the grasslands and glacial moraines, we descend down to the bank of the Budhi Gandaki River. Samdo is a small village with Nepalese people highly influenced by Tibetan tradition and culture. Along the way, we will view the excellent landscape vista of the beautiful Manaslu Mountain. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 11 Rest Day

    Today, we will just stroll around the village of Samdo. If we have some energy left, we will walk up to the border, the Rui La, at 4998m between Nepal and Tibet. We can also stay at our tea house and open up our important emails and other works. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 12 Samdo to Dharamsala [4460m, 4 - 5 hours]

    We will cross small streams and climb up along the stairs to arrive at Sarka Khola with Dharmasala, our destination, just few steps ahead. We will be able to view the charming Larke Glacier along the way. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 13 Dharamsala to Larkya la [5160m] and Bimthang [3720m, 8 - 9 hours]

    We start off early in the morning ascend up to the top of the magnificient Larke Peak and descend down after a short break. From the top, we will be able to view incredible mountain vistas of Himlung Himal, Kang Garu, Annapurna, and Manaslu. We will have our breakfast in the village of Dharmasala and then start downhill in a steep and icy path to arrive at the village of Bimthang after crossing the Burdin Khola. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 14 Bimthang to Tilije [2300m, 5 - 6 hours]

    Descend through a dense forest to get to the Manang District. The walk today is easy and tranquil as the path is not that crowded. Tilije is one of the restricted parts of the Manang District and also one of the last stops before exiting form the Manaslu Conservation Area. Overnight at tea house.

  • Day 15 Tilije to Tal [1700m, 5 - 6 hours]

    Today, we will get to Dharapani and exit the Manaslu Conservation Area and enter the fully commercialized Annapurna Conservation Area. Descend down in an easy path until we arrive at Tal. Overnight at tea house. 

  • Day 16 Tal to Syange [1080m, 6 - 7 hours]

    Trail descends down along the Marshyangdi River through green lush hill to arrive at the stone village of Jagat and a short walk through rugged path will take us to Syange for an overnight stay.

  • Day 17 Syange to Kathmandu [8-9 hours]

    After breakfast, we will take a long drive to the city of temples, Kathmandu. The drive is through long, windy and bumpy road of the Prithvi Highway which takes us almost 9 hours to complete. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 18 Final Departure

    Our representatives will drop you at the airport concluding the trip and bidding farewell.
