Start the Pashupatinath and Jalnarayan pilgrimage tour by visiting Pashupatinath temple, one of the holiest sites for Hindus worldwide. The temple is located along the bank of the Bagmati River. Once we visit Pashupatinath temple, we will also visit Guheshwori Shaktipeetam, which is about 1 kilometer east of Pashupatinath temple. It is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites for Hindus, where the temple is supposed to be the Shakti chair of the Pashupatinath. After visit Guheshwori Shaktipeetam, we will head to Jalnarayan Temple, which is located about an hours’ drive from Kathmandu Valley in the tranquil town of Bhaktapur. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is also known as Jalnaraya Vishnu Temple. It is famous for its serene setting near a lake, where pilgrims often take a dip for purification. Spend time meditating and soaking in the peaceful environment. Explore the nearby area around the Jalnarayan temple, such as the natural water sources and the intricate architecture of the surrounding structures. After Darshan and exploring the surrounding, we will return to Kathmandu. In the evening, we will attend the evening Aarati (ritual of lights) at Pashupatinath, a beautiful and moving experience as priests perform prayers with oil lamps. After attending evening Aarati at Pashupatinath temple, return to the hotel and spend overnight.
