Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu
As you set foot on Tribhuvan international airport, you will meet the representative of Kai Expedition. After meeting representative, we will take you to the hotel and after check in formalities in the hotel you can take some rest or roam around the vibrant street of Kathmandu. -
Day 2 Preparation and sightseeing at Kathmandu
Very early in the morning, you can visit Pashupatinath, one of the four most revered Hindu sites in the world. After visiting Pashupatinath, we will be back to the hotel. On this day, we will take all the necessary trekking permits which are needed for Pisang Peak climbing. We also do some shopping like climbing gears which are needed for climbing. In the evening time, you will meet the representative of Kai expedition and the Guide who will explain about tomorrow plans and leaves you to hotel to take rest. -
Day 3 Drive towards Dharapani
From Kathmandu, we will take drive towards Dharapani. Very early in the morning, we will take a tourist bus towards Besisahar. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Besisahar from Kathmandu. From Besisahar, we will take a local jeep to reach Dharapani. It takes almost 5 hours to reach Dharapani from Besisahar and spend overnight at Dharapani. -
Day 4 Trek to Chame
We will walk towards our next destination today. After having nourishing and hot breakfast, we start our day by trekking towards Chame. After trekking for few hours upwards, we will enter Tibetan village of Bagarchap. We will pass through another small village called Dangyung as we move on some beautiful tree hills from Bagarchap. On the way to Chame, we will get a mesmerizing view of mountain like Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and IV. The trail will take uphill to the village of Chame and spend overnight. -
Day 5 Trek to Upper Pisang
Start our trekking with a mesmerizing view of Annapurna Langtang Mountain ranges. Today, we will pass through several rivers and climb from Chame village. After walking few hours, we will enter Taleku and from Talekhu, we will move towards Bartang by crossing a bridge. As we walk at high altitude, you will notice the changes where the greenery surrounding begins to shift to a drier more desert environment. It is about 5 to 6 hours walk from Chame and we will reach Upper Pisang where we are going to spend overnight. -
Day 6 Acclimatization at Upper Pisang
On the 6th day of Pisang peak climbing, we will accumulate ourselves at Upper Pisang. We will spend our day by exploring this beautiful village filled with gorgeous landscapes all around. From this beautiful village, you will be amazed with mesmerizing views of Mt Annapurna, Gangapurna and other peaks on this route. -
Day 7 Trek to Pisang Base Camp
The trail situated above from here, where we will walk up higher and higher. We will pass through several thinly forest and grassland where you can see yak grazing everywhere. It is about 5 to 6 hours of walk from upper Pisang and we will be at Base Camp. As we reach at Base Camp, the team member will set the tent. While team member setting the tent, you can roam around the Base Camp and spend overnight at tent.

Day 8 Trek to Pisang High Camp
From Pisang peak base camp, we will slowly move towards High camp after having nourishing breakfast at camp. We will climb upward to Pisang peak High Camp. Today, we will stand at an altitude of 5400m from sea level. It takes about 3 to 4 hours, to get into high camp from base camp. After reaching high camp, we will set the tent and spend overnight at High Camp. -
Day 9 Preparation for climbing
Today, whole day, we will stay at High camp. Before summiting Pisang peak, we will prepare for climbing. On this day, we will learn about the technique to climb the peak. We will learn how to use crampons, harness, and how to knot the ropes while climbing, so that you are ready to move further. -
Day 10 Climb Pisang peak and back to high camp
Today is the day, we are waiting for because on this day, we will summit Pisang peak. It is a dream for the climbers to summit Pisang peak. We will start our walking day at 4am early in the morning. While climbing the trail goes through rocky and stony exterior and goes through this terrain so trekker needs to keep their mind alert in each step on the way. From the top of Pisang peak, the climbers are rewarded by spectacular scenery which is never seen before. After summiting Pisang peak, we will trek back to High Camp and spend overnight. -
Day 11 Extra day for climbing
On this day, if we cannot summit the Pisang peak on the past day due to bad weather, we will summit today. The weather in the high altitude is unpredictable, so it is better to keep extra day for climbing. If we completely summit the Pisang Peak, we will be back to Base Camp and spend overnight. -
Day 12 Trek to Manang
After successfully summiting Pisang peak, we will trek back towards Manang valley. We follow the trail that gets winders and driers as we walk towards Manang valley. From Base Camp, it is about 5 to 6 hours of walk, and we finally reach Manang valley and spend overnight. -
Day 13 Trek to Yak Kharka
From Manang, we will continue our trek towards Yak Kharka. The trail moves across the Cheggi Khola River. The trail gradually rising to a peaceful apple field which itself is astonishing. Along the way to Yak Kharka, we will have astonishing views of Annapurna, Gangapurna and Tilicho peak. Before entering Yak Kharka, we will reach the small village of Ghunsa. It is about 3 to 4 hours of walk from Manang and reaches Yak Kharka and spends overnight. -
Day 14 Trek to Thorong Phedi
The trail will follow uphill and walk to cross a suspension bridge. After crossing suspension bridge, we will reach at village called Ledar. The trail ascends further along the trail to pass through all the way to soaring cliff. It is about 5 to 6 hours of walking from Yak Kharka to reach Thorong Phedi and spend overnight here. -
Day 15 Trek to Muktinath
Before entering Muktinath, we will pass Thorong la pass. This day is commonly known as one of the most challenging days at Pisang Peak climbing. After crossing Thorong La pass, we will walk towards Muktinath, a religious site for both Buddhist and Hindu. And spend overnight at Muktinath. -
Day 16 Trek to Jomsom
The trails follow a path of the Jomsom. The trail descends through meadows, streams, and apple trees before entering Kagbeni. At Kagbeni, we will visit the beautiful village, and we will move downwards towards Jomsom. We will trek through the bank of Kali Gandaki valley and finally reach Jomsom and spend overnight at this beautiful village.

Day 17 Drive to Pokhara
From Jomsom, we will take a local jeep and drive towards Pokhara. We will cross many small villages of Annapurna region while driving from Jomsom to Pokhara. Today is the last day at Annapurna region. It is about 7 to 8 hours of drive from Jomsom to Pokhara. After reaching at Pokhara, we will check in the hotel. If you want, you can roam around Phewa Tal in the evening time and spend overnight at Pokhara. -
Day 18 Drive back to Kathmandu
We will take a tourist bus and slowly drive toward Kathmandu. On the way to Kathmandu, we get an opportunity to see the gateway of Manakamana temple. We will pass through torrential rivers before entering Kathmandu valley. It takes 7 to 8 hours to reach Kathmandu from Pokhara. After reaching Kathmandu, we will directly take you to hotel where you can take a rest or go shopping for souvenirs. -
Day 19 Departure day
According to your flight schedule, the guide will be at hotel lobby to take you to the airport. You will meet the representative of Kai expedition and hoping that you will give an opportunity to serve you again.
