Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu valley, you are warmly welcomed by a representative from Kai Expedition. After clearing immigration and collecting your luggage, you will be greeted with traditional hospitality and transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey, and soak in vibrant atmosphere of Nepal’s capital city. A short briefing about the upcoming adventure will be provided later in the evening.

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu

Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu
We enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley, exploring UNESCO World Heritage Sites that reflects Nepal’s rich history and culture. Visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the serene Bouddhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, renowned for its ancient palaces and temples. This cultural immersion offers a perfect introduction to Nepal’s spiritual heritage before beginning the scenic Royal Trek. -
Day 3 Drive towards Pokhara from Kathmandu
After breakfast at Kathmandu, we set out on a scenic drive to Pokhara, enjoying views of rivers, terraced hills, and traditional villages along the way. The journey offers a glimpse of Nepal’s diverse landscapes as we follow the Trishuli River and unwinding mountain roads. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we check in to the hotel and have time to relax and explore the lakeside area in preparation for the Royal Trek. -
Day 4 Pokhara to Kalikasthan
Early in the morning, we will take a short drive towards Bijapur after having breakfast at Pokhara. The drive passes through scenic countryside and rural settlements. From Bijapur, the Royal Trek officially begins with a gentle trek to Kalikasthan, walking through terraced fields, forests, and local villages. The day ends with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and a peaceful overnight stay in Kalikasthan. -
Day 5 Kalikasthan to Syaklung
The trek takes you from Kalikasthan to Syaklung, following a gentle trail through terraced fields, forests, and traditional Gurung villages. The walk offers peaceful rural scenery with beautiful views of the Annapurna ranges and surrounding hills. Along the way, you will experience local village life, friendly encounters with residents, and a calm atmosphere far from busy trekking routes, before reaching the charming village of Syaklung for an overnight stay. -
Day 6 Syaklung to Chisapani
The trek continues from Syaklung to Chisapani, passing through scenic ridges, lush forests, and small villages. The trail offers gradual ascents and descents with rewarding views of the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges, as well as the Pokhara valley below. The day’s walk is peaceful and culturally rich, ending at Chisapani, a beautiful hilltop village known for its panoramic mountain and sunrise views. -
Day 7 Chisapani to Begnas Lake and drive back to Pokhara
After early morning breakfast at Chisapani, begin a scenic trek towards Begnas Lake, passing through lush forests, small villages, and terraced farmlands with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Upon reaching Begna Lake, enjoy relaxing time by the tranquil waters before continuing by road, driving back to Pokhara in the afternoon and concluding the trek with a comfortable return to the city. -
Day 8 Drive back to Kathmandu
After breakfast in Pokhara, begins the scenic drive back to Kathmandu, following the winding highway along rivers, hills, and rural settlements. The journey offers final glimpses of Nepal’s diverse landscapes, marking the end of the Royal Trek experience before arriving in Kathmandu by late afternoon or evening. -
Day 9 Departure day
Your final day begins with a peaceful morning giving you to pack up, enjoying a last Nepali breakfast and perhaps pack up a few souvenirs. Depending on your flight schedule, you have a chance for a short stroll around Thamel or a quiet moment of reflection. Our team member will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport with a heartfelt farewell, marking the end of your unforgettable journey through the Himalayas.
