Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu
As you set foot at the Tribhuvan international airport, you will meet the team member of the Kai expedition. After meeting a team member of the Kai expedition, you will go to the hotel and complete all the Check-in formalities and leave you at the hotel to take a rest. -
Day 2 Drive to Dholalghat and start rafting toward Pachuwarghat
From Kathmandu, we will take a drive towards Dholalghat, which is about 2 to 3 hours of drive. Once we reach Dholalghat, we will take a short break, and the guide will instruct you on safety instructions and rescue methods. After explaining, we will start the rafting. On the first day, from Dholalghat, we will raft towards Pachuwarghat. Once Pachuwarghat is reached, the team member will set up the tent and spend the night in the camp. -
Day 3 Continue rafting toward Chainpur
After having breakfast, the team member will pack the tent and start today’s rafting. Today, we will raft towards Chainpur, where you will face many small and big rapids and waves. Once we have reached Chainpur, the team member of the Kai expedition will set up the camp and spend overnight in the tent. -
Day 4 Rafting continues to Jhagare
Start our day with a hot and nourishing breakfast, and after breakfast, start another day of the Sunkoshi River Rafting. On this day, we will raft towards Jhagare. As you start rafting, the volume of the water also increases where Tama Koshi also joins the rivers. The rafting will become more and more exciting, where you will face different kinds of rapids before reaching Jhagare. Once we have reached Jhagare, the team member will set up the tent and spend the night. -
Day 5 Rafting to Ranighat
For the experienced rafters, it is the most exciting as you start rafting on the Sunkoshi River because you will face a big rapid on “Hakapur”. After crossing the big rapids, you will see the Dudh Koshi, mixing with the Sunkoshi River. As you raft, you will witness the color change in the river and after few minutes of paddle, we will be at camp site. Once we reach Ranighat, the team member will set up the tent and spend the night. -
Day 6 Rafting to Rasuwaghat
We will continue our rafting from Ranighat till we do not reach Rasuwaghat. On this day, you have to face Jaws, Dead Man Eddy, and the most popular Rhino Rocky and finally reach Rasuwaghat. The team member of Kai expedition will set up the tent once reached campsite and spend overnight. -
Day 7 Rafting to Jungle Corridor
After having a hot and nourishing breakfast, the team will carry raft in the river and start rafting. After a few minutes of paddling, you will observe that the Sunkoshi River is getting narrower. Before campsite, you will have to face rapids and after clearing all those rapids, you will reach today’s destinations and spend overnight at tent. -
Day 8 Rafting to Tribeni Dovan
As you started rafting, you will face small rapids and waves. But as you raft, you have to cross two astonishing rapids “Big Dipper” and “Black Hole”. After facing two rapids, you will see the two rivers “Arun” and “Tamor” mixing with the Sunkoshi River. The mixing of three rivers, so this place or campsite is known as Tribeni where we spend overnight. -
Day 9 Final stretch toward Chatara and return to Kathmandu
In the morning, we will have our breakfast and after breakfast, we will go for the last time rafting in the Sunkoshi River. Once we have completed rafting, we will take a bus and drive towards Kathmandu. If you are tired of rafting, and you do not want to go by road then you can also take a flight towards Kathmandu from Biratnagar. -
Day 10 Rest or sightseeing in Kathmandu
If you are tired then on this day, you can take a rest, or you do not want to rest then you can explore around Kathmandu. You can visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site and spend another last night in Kathmandu. -
Day 11 Departure day
According to your flight schedule, the team member of the Kai expedition will take you to the airport and hope that you will give us an opportunity to serve you again.
