Day 1 Arrive at Kathmandu
As you set foot at the Tribhuvan international airport, you meet the representative of Kai Expedition. After meeting the representative, you will go to the hotel and clear all the check-in formalities and leave you at the hotel to take some rest. -
Day 2 Preparation and sightseeing
Very early in the morning, you will visit Pashupatinath, one of the four most revered Hindu sites in the world. After exploring Pashupatinath, you will return to the hotel and rest for some time. You will take the time to visit other UNESCO world heritage sites around Kathmandu after taking a rest. After visiting the world heritage site, come back to the hotel. In the evening, go shopping to buy some climbing gear which is needed while climbing. The guide and representative will be at the hotel to inform you of further plans for you going trekking and leave you to take a rest. -
Day 3 Dive towards Pokhara
In the early morning, we will drive towards Pokhara, where the drive passes through a scenic route following the Trishuli River. It takes almost 7 to 8 hours to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. Later, when you reach Pokhara, you will directly take to the hotel, clear check-in formalities, and get some rest. In the evening, we will visit beautiful Phewa Lake with an astonishing sunset view. After visiting Phewa Lake, we will be back to the hotel and spend overnight. -
Day 4 Short drive to Naya Pul and trek to Tikhedhunga
From Pokhara, after having breakfast, we will take a short drive towards Naya Pul. It is just 1 hour of a drive from Pokhara, and then we will be at Naya Pul. Naya Pul is the gateway to every trekking which can be done in the Annapurna region. From Naya Pul, we will start our walking trek towards Tikhedhunga. Before entering Tikhedhung, we will enter one of the largest Gurung villages “Ghandruk”. Along the way to Tikhedhunga, we will pass through the Modi River with rhododendron trees and small streams. It takes almost 4 to 5 hours to reach Tikhedhunga from Naya Pul and spend a peaceful night at Tikhedhunga. -
Day 5 Trek to Ghorepani
Firstly, from Tikhedhunga, we will walk a steep trek for about 2 hours and reach Ulleri. Ulleri will give an opportunity to learn about the culture and tradition of the Magar people. After Ulleri, we will cross Banthati. The trail slowly ascends, which will be exciting. Along the way, you will be amazed with the enthralling views of the Mountain like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli. We also walk through a beautiful Rhododendron forest with several wild animals, refreshing springs, and rivers. It is about 6 hours of walk from Tikhedhunga, and we will be at Ghorepani. If you want, then you can roam around the village and spend overnight at Ghorepani. -
Day 6 Trek to Tadapani
At 4am, we will walk to Poon Hill to see a mesmerizing view of the sunrise coming out from the high Himalayan. It is about 1 hour of climbing from Ghorepani, and we will be at Poon Hill. From the viewpoint, we will get enthralling views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Machhapuchre along with the Annapurna mountain range. After the sunrise view from Poon Hill, then slowly back to the hotel and have some hot and nourishing breakfast. After breakfast, we will slowly move towards Tadapani. From Ghorepani, we will trek the descent towards Tadapani. Along the way to Tadapani, we will get a mesmerizing view of Annapurna II, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, and other peaks. From Ghorepani, it takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Tadapani and spend the night at Tadapani. -
Day 7 Trek to Chhomrong
Today, the trail is easy with a gradual ascent. Along the way, we will pass through the natural scenery of the green hills and rhododendron trees, which is pleasant while walking. Today the trail will continue our journey to Chhomrong and passing through Chuile on the way. From Tadapani, at the first place, we will reach Ghandruk village. And from Ghandruk village, we take a steep descent to the Kimron River before entering Chhomrong. It is about 6 hours of walk from Tadapani, and finally, we will be at Chhomrong and spend the night here. -
Day 8 Trek to Dovan
We will walk forward along the Modi Khola and cross a suspension bridge over Chhomrong Khola. After hours of walking, we will enter Sinuwa village, and from Sinuwa, the trail is flat and comfortable. The trekkers get an opportunity to enter the rhododendron forest Kuldahar. After 7 hours of walking from Chhomrong, we will reach Dovan and spend the night here. -
Day 9 Trek to Deurali
Along the way to Deurali, the trekkers will find the forest growing thinner and move onto barren land. On the way to Deurali, you will pass through a Himalayan hotel and a Hinku cave. From a cliff opposite Deurali Bhanjyang, you can observe the statue of the sitting Buddha. It is about 4 to 5 hours of walk from Dovan, and we will reach Deurali and spend the night here. -
Day 10 Trek to Annapurna base camp
Today, we will trek towards Annapurna Base Camp from Deurali. The climb will take you gently over a steep trail on the mountainside through a river bed. On the way to Annapurna Base Camp, we will pass through Bagar and Machhapuchhre Base Camp, where the trail is challenging. You also have an opportunity to see mesmerizing views of mountains like Annapurna I, III, South, Machhapuchhre, Himchuli, Gandharva Chuli, Ganga Purna, and other peaks on the way. It is about 5 hours of walk from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp and spends an overnight here. -
Day 11 Acclimatization in Annapurna Base Camp
On the 11th day of Tent Peak climbing, we will spend another day at Annapurna Base Camp. We will take a rest at Annapurna base camp on this day. Very early morning, we will go for a short hike towards Annapurna base camp. We will walk around, and after exploring Annapurna base camp, we will return to the lodge to take a rest. It is better to take rest while trekking at high altitude to avoid altitude sickness. -
Day 12 Trek to Tent Base Camp
From Annapurna Base Camp, we will start our trekking towards Tent base camp. The trail passes through a rubble-covered glacier and moraine cliffs in the wilderness. You will lead to a flat boulder near an icy stream. After crossing the stream, we will reach Base Camp, and after reaching base camp, the team member will set the camp. While a team member sets the camp, you can roam around the base camp and spend overnight at Base camp. -
Day 13 Trek to Tent High Camp
Today, the climb is technically in various sections, and trekking to high camp is essential to prepare for a successful peak climb. Along the way, we will pass the hills, reaching a ridge above, and finally reach High Camp. It is just 3 hours of walk from the base camp to the high camp. After reaching High camp, the team member will set up the tent where we are going to spend 3 nights here. -
Day 14 Preparation for summiting
On this day, we will be preparing for climbing. We also learn how to use climbing equipment like crampons, harnesses, and knot the ropes. After learning about using climbing gear, we will take a rest at high camp and save energy for tomorrow’s climbing. -
Day 15 Climb Tent Peak and back to High Camp
Today is the day when your waiting will be over. It is because today is the day we will summit Tent Peak. You will go with the expert climbing guide from high camp. For an hour of walking from High camp, the trail first moves on a flat glacier without any difficulty. From Rakshi peak, the trail turns into moderate slopes. You will need a great effort as it is steep 55 degrees up to 90 degrees. After reaching the top of the tent peak, you will be amazed with the mesmerizing view of Annapurna South, I, III, V, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, and other peak in this region. After summiting Tent Peak, we will be back to High Camp and spends overnight here. -
Day 16 Extra day for climbing
If you are unable to summit Tent peak on the past day, you will summit this day. It is better to keep an extra day while climbing because the weather in the high Himalayan is unpredictable. After summiting the Tent peak, we will trek back to Machhapuchhre base camp. We will trek back to the same route that took us up. -
Day 17 Trek back to Dovan
From Machhapuchhre base camp, we will trek back to Dovan. Before entering Dovan, we will pass through Deurali, a Himalayan hotel with woodland trees that line the Modi River. From Machhapuchhre base camp, we will walk for at least 5 to 6 hours and finally arrive at Dovan. If you want, then you can roam around the village in the evening and spends overnight at Dovan. -
Day 18 Trek back to Chhomrong
We will leave Dovan after having breakfast and slowly move towards Chhomrong. After walking an hour from Dovan, the trail leads towards a bamboo forest, and we will climb to reach a gradual path in the middle of the forest. After crossing the bamboo forest, we will pass through Sinuwa Danda and then enter the Chommrong Khola stream heading downhill. We will cross a suspension bridge, and after crossing the bridge, we will trek upward towards Chhomrong and spend overnight here. -
Day 19 Trek to Jhinu Danda
Today, we will walk through a scenic downhill trek with lots of ups and downs. After 25 minutes of walk from Chhomrong, we will walk along the bank of Modi Khola. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Jhinu Danda from Chhomrong. After reach at Jhinu Danda, we will check in the lodge. From Jhinu Danda, we will hike steeply down for 30 minutes through lush forest and reach at hot spring. We will take a bath at the hot spring, which makes our body relax after the trek. After taking a bath in the hot spring, return to the hotel and spend the night at Jhinu Danda. -
Day 20 Drive back to Pokhara
From Jhinu Danda, firstly, we will walk toward Naya Pul. It is about 5 to 6 hours of walk from Jhinu Danda, and we will be at Naya Pul. From Naya Pul, we will take a bus and drive to Pokhara. After hour of driving from Naya Pul, we will reach Pokhara and directly take to the hotel. If you want, you can roam around the Phewa Tal. After roaming around Phewa Tal, we will be back to the hotel and spend overnight in Pokhara. -
Day 21 Drive back to Kathmandu
We will drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Firstly, we will follow the Marsyangdi river and then after the Trishuli river. The trail provides great views of the natural scenery and terraced farmland. It is about 7 to 8 hours of driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, you will directly take to the hotel and leave you to take a rest at the hotel. -
Day 22 Departure day
According to the flight schedule, you will take to the airport. The guide who is with you on 22 days, Tent Peak, will be there to see you off. And the representative of Kai expedition will be there, hoping that you will visit Nepal again and give us a chance to serve you again.
